nice write up! I'll go one step further on your analogy... I love the convenience of pre-cut broccoli in a bag, but I hate the fact that the florets often end up too small when you roast them, so I prefer the "giant broccoli" that your daughter does. But I hate the inconvenience of the uncut stalks.... leaving the door open for an even more nuanced new product offering that I would likely pay for (assuming there are enough people like me who have that preference). Innovation kind of works this way!
